The struggles in my brain
they send me pushing at a chain
of hopeful, newly dreamt domains
that pulls at hours from my day in
that I bounce each cherished gain
in ways that only seem to feign
successes succored in a lane
that passes past purported pain
obfuscated in the frame
of thoughts resiliently remaining
causing doubt about… their reign…
