I’ve had ugly dogs before. I’ve even had a dog that was ‘so ugly he was cute.’ But I don’t think that applies in this case. As for the name ‘Elwood,’ the only other Elwood I know of was Dan Akroyd’s character in the Blues Brothers. Does Elwood’s owner dislike Dan Akroyd? Does she think they look alike? Is she getting the Blues Brothers and Ghost Busters confused???
